A multi-light suspension made of glass-blowing technique through copper mesh

The elegance of the design of the 76 Serie comes from a very specific process: A vacuum is introduced to a strata composed of hot white and clear glass with copper mesh between; the vacuum causes the white layer to pull away through the embedded mesh, leaving numerous tendrils of white glass suspended within an interstitial space as it goes. 

76 Serie in a random configuration of 3 to 7 pendants hung from a round canopy. The pendants are designed to hang in a random configuration, the result is an ambient installation or field of light. The pendant drop lengths on this light fixture are adjustable up to the specified maximum.

As per its modern and organic finish, this multi-suspension would fit perfectly to illuminate a living room, a bathroom and even an office.

Thanks to its adjustable cables, you will have the opportunity to adjust the length and height of the roof suspension to better fit the emplacement of your lighting and your overall decoration.

- 76.3 : three pendant fixture, 152mm diameter brushed nickel round canopy.

- 76.5 : five pendant fixture, 152mm diameter brushed nickel round canopy.

- 76.7 : seven pendant fixture, 152mm diameter brushed nickel round canopy.

Omer Arbel is the design director and co-founder of BOCCI. The multi-disciplinary artist and designer is passionate about glass, ceramic and metal transformation processes.

His innovative and spectacular creations come from his numerous sources of inspiration as Arbel travels very often: Paris, New-York, London, Milan and Copenhagen. The 76 Serie multi-light suspension is the result of the encounter between architecture and industrial design.

Please note that the copper mesh used within the 76 may be affected by heat and oxidization during the glass blowing process. These small oxidized edges can sometimes separate within the pendant; this is a natural characteristic of the metal and is seen as an evolution of the piece as it ages.
