Monoqi is the story of an impatient man who chose to travel the world with a burning desire for human encounters, immersions in the heart of traditions, artistic and photographic inspirations leading him to discover each time, new interpretations and visions of the art of living and design. The exploration of ancient techniques, the beauty of the gesture of the hand and the diversity in creation led him, surrounded by his associates, to found Monoqi in order to highlight talents from all over the world, with the common thread enhancement of know-how, preservation of traditions and sustainability. 

Like a window to an elsewhere, Monoqi invites you to escape by putting people at the heart of design and the conception of spaces. Steeped in travels and encounters from an early age, the founder of Monoqi, turns to creators, artists, designers working on their uniqueness in search of artisanal and/or industrial processes that enhance natural materials. The mixing of cultures has always been for him a symbol of altruism, peace and wealth.

He is particularly sensitive to designers who take a close interest in ancestral methods, those who collaborate with local artisans, constantly seeking to have a positive social and environmental impact. This design globetrotter naturally turns to timeless pieces and creations with a story to tell. This is the vocation of Monoqi, to tell stories and make places, spaces imbued with soul, singularity and deep meaning.

Originally from the South of France and having settled in California for some time, this lover of the spirit of the sun, the beach and the sound of the waves, tends to select his pieces and designers with a sensitivity turned towards a relaxed lifestyle by the sea.

The platform redraws this atmosphere, this vitaminized spirit, through the lines of a sharp selection of artisan-creator furniture, lighting and accessories.
